The Science Book Club meets at 2:30pm on 3rd Sunday of each month (unless otherwise specified) in meeting room 3A on the 3rd floor, Main Library, Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, located at 800 Vine St., Cincinnati, OH. Everyone is welcome whether they have read the book or not. There are no dues, no secret handshakes.
I especially liked the Caveman tooth extraction analogy; colorful, and all too true.
ReplyDeleteAnd even though I am getting to the other end of the age spectrum, I agree that from society's standpoint our resources should be allocated to our youth. Education should be the single most important endeavor. Everything else is transitory and essentially meaningless in the big picture. But, break the continuity of education, and all is lost.
